Take the pledge and send a message to the mainstream media that YOU LOVE YOUR BODY just the way it is and you don't need their magic pills or surgeries to be beautiful!
"I am rebelling against the beauty standards of this world. I will love my body because I know that just because she is beautiful, does not mean I am not. "

What do I wear to my boudoir shoot?
31 days, 31 dudes, 31 professions - tackling a huge topic... Human Trafficking.
What does a doctor, a coach, a fisherman, and a photographer have in common?
They are all professions that have a connection to human trafficking activities. Human Trafficking can take on many forms: Labor, Sexual Exploitation, organ trafficking, athlete trafficking, domestic labor, mail order brides, child soldiers, and more. It is estimated that there are over 20 million people currently enslaved in 2017.
As a member of Soroptimist, I became more aware that human trafficking was becoming an epidemic in our communities. January is human trafficking awareness month and I am committed to educating our public about human trafficking and it's aftermath.
I decided to use my talents and Create a "dudoir" calendar called Dudes Against Human Trafficking, but then I realized that I would have a limited reach since the photos wouldn't be published online. So I created a sister project called Challengers for Change, which focuses on men and their profession, taking a stand against human trafficking.
I would like to invite you to check out our online campaign at www.facebook.com/dudesagainsthumantrafficking. Share the photos. Donate to the organizations supported by the men. Educate yourself. Make a positive impact.
If you would like to have your employer/employees trained about human trafficking activities in the workplace, check out www.bestalliance.org

Military Wives are always looking for a way to surprise their husband's while he's underway. I had a great time with Miss J customizing a product package that would work well for shipping and storing well on his ship.
Miss Stephanie just can't seem to stay away from my studio. This is our 3rd shoot together and she exclaimed after she saw her photos, that it was her favorite!
We decided for this round to show off her nerdy side. Her and her hubby are really into Star Wars, so she decided to play on that theme.
We had a super fun time, and with her permission, I can share some of her pics!
Her wardrobe consisted of: A white tee, over the knee socks from the studio, A white dress shirt and tie and suspenders from the studio, and nerdy glasses.

If you are planning a Beauty Experience photo shoot, your first thought is most likely that you want to surprise him with the photos.
Sometimes involving your partner can have a huge positive impact on your experience. Here's how:
1) Planning - when I did my 2nd boudoir shoot, I let my husband be involved in the planning stages. Him and I went shopping together and I enjoyed his input, and was actually rather surprised at what he found beautiful and sexy. It was actually really fun to do this together.
2) Getting inside his head - It's the thing that women all want. We want to know what he's thinking all the time right? This is an opportunity for you to actually get inside his head! You will be surprised, and excited to learn some new things about him.
3) Making a pinterest board together - Get on pinterest together and pin photos that he chooses. Again, you'll be surprised what he's drawn to. It's probably alot different than what you woudl choose.
4) Selecting photos together - Once you've had your shoot, you can bring him to your reveal. Let him be involved in the selection of his favorite photos. Again, you'll be surprised at what photos he will choose as his favorites. And I'm not gonna lie, me getting to see his reaction, is priceless and I absolutely LOVE that part :)
This video allowed me to see a husband's reaction to his wife's surprise photo shoot. And I want to see more!
Although surprises are fun and invigorating, talk with your partner about the idea of a shoot and see what he says. Then contact me and schedule your consultation and let's talk more about your ideas and create a plan of attack.
